Profile: Seven pieces, each conceived for one of the seven saxophones — from sopranino to contrabass — as a variation on the same musical material. The three ensembles — winds, brass and strings — each have a single music of their own, returning unchanged in all possible combinations: alone, in pairs, or in full superimposition.
